Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer Technical Lead in Roy, UT to join the Sentinel Launch Systems Infrastructure Facility Electrical Design Team. You’ll lead electricity-focused design decisions for weapon-system support, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders across disciplines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5 years of experience (or 2 years with a Master’s, or 1 year with a PhD).
- U.S. Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance; ability to obtain SAP approval.
- Experience in electrical architecture, power distribution, and system integration.
- Familiarity with MIL specs, NEC/NESC, EMI/EMC design, and DoD acquisition processes.
Responsibilities
- Support design requirements for electrical power generation, conversion and distribution.
- Coordinate with integration teams and produce electrical design documentation.
- Attend program reviews and technical exchanges to report progress.
- Lead and mentor teams while maintaining schedule and technical recovery plans.
