Job summary
Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer/Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT.
You will lead ground electrical design activities across facilities nationwide, coordinating with design and integration teams and delivering PDPs/ADPs for reviews. Qualified candidates have a STEM degree, DoD Secret clearance, and strong experience in electrical architecture, power systems, and MIL-SPEC standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years experience (or 3 years with a Master’s).
- US citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance and SAP eligibility.
- Experience in electrical architecture, power systems, cables, or circuit design.
- Knowledge of MIL-SPECs and IEC/NEC/NESC/UFC standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Attend internal program, customer and supplier technical exchange meetings.
- Support milestone reviews with progress updates.
- Coordinate electrical system content across design and integration teams.
- Develop PDPs/ADPs and manage through reviews.
- Review schematics, wiring diagrams, data sheets and specs.
- Conduct electrical analysis and LRUs design; perform trade studies.
