Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Test Engineer / Principal Test Engineer for the AVE-IATC team. The role involves developing test solutions from contractual requirements, coordinating with SMEs, and leading test activities for the Sentinel Program.

Required clearance is Secret with US citizenship. The position offers a full-time schedule, on-site work in Roy, and opportunities across hardware-in-the-loop testing with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Experience with software and/or hardware testing.
Knowledge of system integration (HW & SW).
Experience planning and executing test plans and reporting.
Familiar with test instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Develop test solutions from customer requirements considering schedule and cost constraints.
Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules.
Coordinate with SMEs and test teams to define objectives and risks.
Support development of hardware-in-the-loop instrumentation requirements.
Oversee test activities and approve test start and break configurations.
Conduct Test Readiness Reviews and technical safety reviews.
