Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is seeking a Test Engineer to join the AVE OBTE team supporting the Sentinel program. You will define test requirements, develop documentation, and prepare for TRRs.

The role involves hardware/software integration, interfacing with customers, and data analysis to meet system objectives. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; government clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Must have an active US Government Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
• 1+ years of experience in Software and/or Hardware testing experience
• 1+ years of working knowledge of system integration (HW and SW)
• 1+ years of experience supporting the development, plan, and execution of test plans and reporting
• This is a customer-facing role, and you will have to interface with the customer
• Familiarity with test instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into element test solutions that acknowledges technical schedule and cost constraints
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing subsystems
• Coordinate integrated testing activities
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor to junior engineers on the On board Test Equipment Team
• Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program
• Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations
• Oversee supplier test activities in support or requirement verification and validation
