Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Electrical Systems Test Engineer to join the AVE Integration and Test team supporting the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will plan and execute vehicle-level tests, integrate hardware and software, and manage test activities across facilities.

Requires DoD Secret clearance with potential Top Secret, and 3+ years in system and hardware/software testing, RF, and power systems. Travel to Promontory, VSFB, and other test sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or 3 years with a Master's degree.
• US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance, current and within scope.
• Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 3+ years of system integration experience (hardware and software).
• 3+ years of experience developing and executing integrated hardware and software testing.
• 3+ years of experience defining test objectives based on requirements and documentation.
• 3+ years of experience with RF communications and signals processing/analysis.
• 3+ years of experience with electrical systems including power distribution, grounding, and ESD protection.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize system and test requirements into verification criteria, objectives, success criteria, and resources for system-level tests.
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
• Interface with software developers and systems engineers for flight hardware integration and testing.
• Execute tests and manage problems/failures; review test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Create and review Test Discrepancy Reports and contribute to test status documentation.
• Maintain test equipment documentation and configuration management; travel to facilities as needed.
