Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Electrical Engineer in the Rancho Bernardo area to lead test engineering for complex electronic assemblies. You will analyze circuits, interpret schematics, and troubleshoot LRUs and WRAs across development to production and in-service contexts.

You will work closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, with a strong emphasis on test methods, documentation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field with relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with circuit analysis, schematic interpretation, and root cause investigation.
• Experience with automated testing of CCA, LRU, and WRA assemblies.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and high-reliability electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across full lifecycle of LRUs and WRAs for production test.
• Troubleshoot test stations, analyze failures, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to improve yield and reliability.
• Support qualification activities, documentation, and obsolescence solutions.
