Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university required.
• Doctoral degree in education preferred.
• Three (3) years relevant experience as a school-based administrator required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of all school personnel; report and monitor employees not meeting contractual requirements.
• Define the school's mission and communicate goals of the total school program.
• Provide instructional leadership for alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment through observation and evaluation of teachers.
• Develop and monitor a SIP that supports the district's strategic plan and state growth measures.
• Engage community stakeholders in shared responsibility for student learning and school success.
