Qualifications

• Master's Degree in related field of education from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Doctoral Degree in related field of education from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
• Three (3) years experience as a school-based administrator required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of all school personnel; report and monitor employees not meeting contractual requirements.
• Define the school’s mission and communicate goals of the total school program.
• Provide instructional leadership for alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment through observation and evaluation of teachers.
• Create, maintain and monitor a monthly meeting calendar for collaboration and school culture focused on rigor and learning.
• Coordinate the instructional program with central office staff and supervise the school’s program.
• Improve instructional practices through observation and evaluation of teachers.
• Lead and direct continuous school improvement processes.
• Develop a SIP aligned with district plan and state growth measures.
• Monitor student achievement using data and technology.
• Engage community stakeholders in shared responsibility for student learning.
