Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking an experienced Principal EDA/CAD Engineer to provide technical leadership for global engineering compute and design-data-management environments.

The role blends hands-on CAD engineering with responsibility for Perforce/IPLM-based data management, automation, and documentation across distributed teams. You will work with engineering, CAD, and IT teams to develop scalable, Linux-based environments and workflows for managing semiconductor design data.

Formación

• Significant experience in EDA/CAD engineering or compute environments.
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Experience with Perforce Helix or similar version-control systems.
• Experience with IPLM or equivalent IP lifecycle-management.
• Proficient in Python and shell scripting.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex engineering environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for engineering compute infrastructure and CAD environments.
• Define requirements for compute, storage and supporting engineering infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets design requirements.
• Support migration and consolidation of legacy engineering environments.
• Develop automation for engineering environment and data-management workflows.
• Create reusable methodologies for project creation and onboarding.
