Renesas Electronics is hiring a Principal EDA/CAD Engineer to lead and optimize its global engineering compute and design-data-management environment. You will work across CAD, engineering and IT teams to develop scalable, Linux-based environments and data-management workflows.

The role requires deep experience with EDA workflows, Perforce Helix and IPLM, and strong scripting skills. You will drive automation, documentation and training to support complex semiconductor design projects worldwide.

Formación

• Significant experience in EDA/CAD engineering or semiconductor design infrastructure.
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Experience with Perforce Helix (P4) or comparable enterprise version-control/data-management tech.
• Methodics IPLM or equivalent IP lifecycle-management experience.
• Strong Python and/or shell scripting skills.
• Experience supporting complex engineering project environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Ability to work across engineering and IT/infrastructure teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for engineering compute infrastructure and CAD environments.
• Support development of Linux-based engineering environments across globally distributed teams.
• Define requirements for compute, storage and supporting engineering infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets design needs.
• Support migration and consolidation of legacy engineering environments.
• Develop automation for engineering environment and data-management workflows.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Contribute to the technical strategy and roadmap for compute and data-management infrastructure.
