Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr Principal Engineer DMSMS to join the Aerospace Systems team in San Diego, CA (preferred) or Palmdale, CA. This full-time on-site role requires a Secret clearance with potential TS/SAP/SCI eligibility and up to 25% travel.

The candidate will lead obsolescence mitigation, develop strategic roadmaps, coordinate with suppliers, and engage senior management to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience in proactive DMSMS/obsolescence management.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables/charts, macros, etc.).
• Active Secret or higher clearance with ability to obtain TS/SAP/SCI if required.

Responsibilities

• Gather, verify data and maintain obsolescence mitigation records.
• Lead obsolescence mitigation activities and prepare agendas/minutes.
• Analyze and predict requirements to build obsolescence roadmaps for end-of-life subsystems.
