Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer in Cedar Rapids, IA, with a strong DevSecOps focus. You will lead design and deployment of automation pipelines and tooling, mentoring teammates and enabling rapid onboarding of DevOps technologies across engineering teams.

The role is hybrid or onsite, based in Cedar Rapids, and involves working with Collins Digital Engineering Solutions to deliver world-class automation and data analytics for engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of new capabilities for DSO pipelines/automations.
• Optimize existing DSO pipeline capabilities.
• Set up and own sandbox environments for incubation and development.
• Collaborate across teams to onboard Cert DevOps technology quickly.
• Mentor and onboard teammates; self-starter capable of multitasking.
