Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with a strong embedded software background and a passion for DevSecOps. You will lead pipeline development, automation, and data analytics, acting as a subject matter expert across the DevSecOps solutions for our embedded engineering users.

You will work in a hybrid environment, mentor teammates, and help onboard others while coordinating with multiple teams to enable rapid adoption of the Cert DevOps technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in C, C++, Python programming.
• Familiarity with C/C++ build tooling and source control.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of new capabilities for DSO pipelines and automations.
• Optimize existing DSO pipeline and automation capabilities.
• Set up and own sandbox environments for technology incubation and development.
• Mentor and onboard teammates and collaborate across teams.
