Curaleaf is seeking a Principal Data & Analytics Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our data platform. This hands-on leadership role spans Snowflake, dbt, Omni, Hex, and related services, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, trusted data products.

You will mentor engineers, set standards, and drive architecture decisions while collaborating with data governance and business stakeholders to unlock insights across the organization.

Formación

• 8+ years in Data Engineering or related field
• Senior technical lead or equivalent
• Strong Snowflake expertise
• Advanced SQL and Python
• dbt or similar SQL-first framework
• Modern analytical data models
• Ingestion/ELT, orchestration, data contracts & lineage
• Git, CI/CD, testing in data systems
• Mentor engineers and align technically without people management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field

Responsabilidades

• Define end-to-end architecture across ingestion, Snowflake, dbt, Omni, and Hex
• Translate business strategy into scalable technical roadmaps and patterns
• Set technology boundaries for ingestion, transformation, semantic, reporting layers
• Architect secure, scalable Snowflake environments for data products and analytics
• Collaborate with Senior Data Engineer on workload management and production support
• Lead environment management, data access, and platform resilience
• Define standards for SQL, Python, dbt, pipelines, testing, deployment
• Advance Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and release management
• Collaborate with data owners to design trusted reusable data products
• Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and drive improvements
• Communicate architecture and investment needs to stakeholders
