Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a visionary Director of Data Engineering to lead the design, build, and management of a state‑of‑the‑art data platform. You will mentor a team of data engineers, collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, and focus on reliable data delivery for reporting, analytics, and data science.

You will drive modernization of the data stack, enforce governance, and align data solutions with strategic goals.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience with data ingestion and transformation tooling.
10+ years in advanced coding languages including SQL, Python and PySpark.
7+ years of experience managing a team and leading projects.
Familiarity with CI/CD/source control processes and tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop and empower a team of data professionals who build best in class data pipelines.
Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain delivery of data in a systematic method.
Ensure successful delivery of data and information in support of reporting and analytics.
Create data migrations, processes, and designs that support data analysis and reporting.
Provide guidance to support/development resources and coordinate activities.
Assist with ETL development of new data sources and platform guardrails.
