Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer or Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team.

You will lead system security engineering across the lifecycle, delivering secure architectures and documentation. Candidates should have a STEM degree and relevant experience, active clearance or the ability to obtain SAP clearance, and familiarity with RMF, CNSSI, and DoD SSE activities.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience or MS with related experience.
• Active DoD SSBI/clearance or ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Familiarity with DoD SSE activities and RMF processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate system level cybersecurity requirements to support successful system sell-off.
• Maintain awareness of and provide SSE input to subsystem-level cybersecurity architectures.
• Support ongoing authorization efforts including briefing authorization status and development of supporting documentation.
• Develop cybersecurity architecture and documentation in support of required system capability.
• Serve as a technical liaison to internal and external teams for SSE expertise.
• Prepare technical documents, briefings, participate in security working groups, and develop procedures.
• Perform other SSE duties as assigned.
