DIRECTV is seeking an IT Software Engineer Principal 2 to lead design and implementation of CX orchestration platforms on AWS, Genesys Cloud, and Salesforce Service Cloud. You will guide cross-functional teams, drive CI/CD practices, and ensure secure, scalable cloud-native solutions across global operations.

The role emphasizes strong technical leadership, CRM integrations, and a coaching mindset to advance senior engineers while aligning with business outcomes in a remote US context.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
5–7 years required, 8+ years desired in software development and architecture, with 4+ years in CCaaS/CX/Field Services.
Expert-level experience with Salesforce Platforms, APIs and custom solutions development.

Responsibilities

Guide development and modernization of critical customer and agent facing applications.
Lead data pathways between internal and external systems, including CRM and APIs.
Govern application design, architecture, and patterns to create scalable, secure CX platforms.
Ensure security and compliance for data and services across systems.
