Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal on the Corporate Development team in Mountain View to lead M&A initiatives and strategic growth. You will drive the end-to-end deal process, perform due diligence, and present findings to senior leaders while coordinating with the Integration team.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in corporate development, VC/IB or related roles, MBA preferred, strong valuation/analytical skills, and proven ability to influence senior executives on high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate development, venture capital/private equity, investment banking or related roles.
• MBA or equivalent experience desired.
• Lead in a high-velocity deal team engaging with tech companies and investors.
• Excellent valuation/analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and strong business sense.
• Superior written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Interpersonal skills with ability to build executive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive the entire M&A process including inorganic strategies, market scans, target valuation, due diligence and negotiations.
• Manage a comprehensive due diligence process involving multiple Intuit functions.
• Apply rigorous financial and valuation acumen to assess opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare narratives and presentations for business unit leaders and executives.
• Coordinate with the Integration team on planning and execution.
• Engage with key business units and stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Develop a network of industry contacts, investors, and advisory executives.
