Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Principal Compensation Analyst to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in shaping compensation programs across the organization.

You will analyze, design, and administer base pay, incentives, and salary structures, lead market benchmarking, and support pay equity and compliance initiatives with data-driven insights for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of compensation experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide compensation programs.
• Strong analytics and compensation operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field (required).
• CCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in shaping compensation programs.
• Analyze, design, and administer enterprise-wide compensation programs including base pay, incentives, and salary structures.
• Lead market benchmarking and complex compensation analyses.

Job Description

As a Principal Compensation Analyst you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in shaping compensation programs that support organizational goals, market competitiveness, and pay equity. This senior-level role partners closely with Compensation leadership to analyze, design, and administer enterprise-wide compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and salary structures. Leveraging advanced analytical skills, you will conduct market benchmarking, lead complex compensation analyses, support pay equity and compliance initiatives, and translate data into meaningful insights that inform executive decision-making. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical compensation professional with experience supporting large-scale compensation programs, strong business acumen, and a passion for using data to drive fair, competitive, and effective compensation strategies. This position offers the opportunity to influence key compensation initiatives, consult with leaders across the organization, and play an integral role in delivering compensation solutions that attract, retain, and reward top talent.

Qualifications

Experience

• 7-10+ years of compensation experience
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide compensation programs
• Strong background in analytics and compensation operations

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field (required)
• CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors)
• Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
