Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will design and ship internal platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and shared services that empower product teams to move quickly and safely.

You will prototype AI-assisted tooling, automate repetitive workflows, and own platform challenges end-to-end in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in platform or infrastructure roles, strong Python or TypeScript skills, and hands-on

Qualifications

5+ years building, shipping, and operating production software in platform or infrastructure roles.
Fluent in Python or TypeScript and comfortable with AWS, containers, Kubernetes, and IaC.
Hands-on with AI integration in engineering workflows and modern CI/CD systems.
Able to navigate ambiguous problems and drive designs to completion.
Product-minded and user-focused with strong communication.

Responsibilities

Build the paved path: design, build, and operate internal platforms and deployment workflows.
Create tooling and automation to multiply team throughput and reduce toil.
Bring AI into the engineering workflow with production-grade tools and guardrails.
Own problems end-to-end from discovery through rollout and adoption.
Strengthen core infrastructure including Kubernetes and cloud foundations.
Drive adoption with telemetry and collaboration with product teams.
