Role Description

This position manages Capital Programs to ensure sustainable service delivery of infrastructure projects as well as manages individual design projects and directs and supervises the work of other personnel towards project execution. The position requires handling of multiple complex capital projects as well as meeting deadlines to facilitate the work of others and the projects. Some remote work is acceptable, but the position is primarily located in Rockville, MD.

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of the appropriate standards and procedures used in the design and construction of roadway, water, wastewater, storm drainage, stormwater management, sediment control, and other public works construction.
• Experience in project management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
