Toole Design Group is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Principal Civil Engineer in Providence, RI.

A Day in the Life of a Principal Engineer

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead and mentor an interdisciplinary team to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure in a wide range of contexts. You will manage projects and guide your team through design development, design review, bid package development, permitting, and answer questions during construction. You will work with your team to ensure that our projects are consistently of the highest quality.

You will assist Engineering Group Managers and/or the Engineering Director in the Northeast by independently managing and leading company projects in the region. You'll participate in business development, project pursuits, and play a key role in the firm's quality initiatives.

Work Schedule for a Principal Engineer

This full-time position typically works a hybrid schedule of 40 hours a week, with one day a week in our Boston office and the rest remote in Providence, RI. We provide employees with the necessary equipment to work from home.
