Job summary

TransUnion LLC is seeking a Principal, Solution Architecture to lead the design of carrier-grade messaging, voice, identity, and fraud solutions for global telecommunications providers and enterprise customers. The role blends product strategy with solution architecture and requires strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

You will drive opportunities, translate VOC into scalable designs, and guide implementations across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture within the telecommunications industry.
• Deep domain expertise in messaging, voice, signaling, network infrastructure, and related protocols.
• Experience partnering with telecommunications carriers, large enterprises, or technology organizations to define and implement complex solutions.
• Proven ability to translate customer business challenges into technical solutions that are commercially viable, scalable, and implementable.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to telecommunications carriers and enterprise customers.
• Design and architect carrier-grade solutions across messaging, voice, identity, and fraud prevention domains.
• Partner directly with customer technology teams, architects, and senior leadership stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive solution adoption.
• Capture VOC insights and translate customer requirements into scalable product enhancements and roadmaps.
• Collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, and Account Management to bring new solutions from concept to deployment.
• Lead technical discussions, solution workshops, architecture reviews, and customer-facing presentations.
