Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate to oversee compliance and governance of US Health and Welfare plans. The role ensures benefits meet all laws and plan documents while monitoring new legislation with a forward-looking approach.

You will collaborate across Benefits, HR Risk and vendor teams to manage filings, audits, plan documentation and notices, and to drive improvements in controls and compliance posture for associates nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with H&W employee benefit plan governance.
• MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• CEBS or CBP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory filings and governance for US H&W plans and monitor legislation.
• Partner with Benefits, HR Risk, vendors and internal teams on audits, documentation and notices.
• Audit TPAs and carriers for compliance with plan terms, SLAs and PGs.
• Maintain compliance calendars, track filings and support incident management and control testing.
