Job summary

CVector - Industrial AI in New York City is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead backend and AI infrastructure work across time-series data systems, AI analytics, cloud infrastructure, and data ingestion pipelines.

You will own complex systems, drive major migrations, and influence platform direction while collaborating with product, modeling, and frontend engineers to scale intelligence in industrial energy workflows.

Qualifications

• A decade or more of experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Experience with time-series data and data ingestion pipelines.
• Proven track record in distributed backend architectures and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own complex backend systems and lead major migrations.
• Shape platform direction and ensure reliability and scalability across AI and data layers.
• Collaborate with product, modeling, and frontend teams to deliver integrated solutions.
