Job summary

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks a Principal Architect - Data Centers to lead client programs and design studios across the US. This role drives staffing, revenue growth, and strategic initiatives in a high-impact market.

You will oversee governance of design practice, lead cross-market collaborations, and ensure delivery aligns with budgets and client goals. A licensed architect with 15+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Certification as a licensed professional preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale business operations and studio-wide financial management.
• Proven ability to lead diverse studio groups while implementing tactical and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing assignments and build project teams that deliver excellence in design, technical expertise, and project management.
• Bring in new clients and revenue with a top-line target.
• Maintain responsibility for project team performance and resource management.
• Set strategic direction for the design practice studio and align with firm goals.
• Lead annual business planning and cross-market collaboration.
