Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a Principal Architect to set technical direction across its product platform within Architecture Services. You will shape multi-year strategy, resolve cross-domain challenges, and represent architecture in senior technical decisions.

You'll lead architecture standards, governance, and AI-native enablement, mentoring domain and squad architects, with a strong focus on security, privacy, and scalable SaaS delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 16+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated impact on organization-wide technical strategy across multiple products or domains.
• Deep expertise in distributed, cloud-native architecture, including microservices, microfrontends, event-driven integration, and API design.
• Track record defining non-functional requirements and architecture governance at platform scale.
• Experience designing for security, privacy, and compliance requirements in enterprise SaaS.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and leading AI-native practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year architecture strategy across product domains and align plans into one platform direction.
• Resolve cross-domain architectural challenges and align stakeholders on platform-wide direction.
• Set direction for non-functional requirements (security, privacy, reliability, performance, scalability, cost).
• Participate early in product discovery to assess feasibility and risks.
