ERM is seeking a Principal Consultant, Archaeologist to lead complex cultural resources projects from a US office base. The role emphasizes technical excellence, project leadership, mentoring, and business development across energy and infrastructure sectors.

You will supervise field and desktop investigations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and help expand ERM’s client relationships while delivering high-quality regulatory deliverables.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6–8 years of related paid experience.
• Secretary of the Interior-qualified archaeologist listed as a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA).
• Demonstrated field experience and principal-level oversight for projects.
• Experience authoring and reviewing agency-regulated reports (NEPA, Class I/III).
• Experience with regulatory interactions as a consultant.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a permitted BLM Principal Investigator.
• Obtain BLM Cultural Resources Use Permits and other required permits.
• Provide QA/QC review of deliverables.
• Oversee desktop studies and field investigations.
• Lead teams across experience levels, including hiring and mentoring.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders to support delivery and growth.
• Represent ERM with clients, partners, and regulators.
