Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to partner with the Solutions Engineering team and sometimes directly with customers to close gaps before deals and translate learnings into field-ready assets.

You will build AI-assisted prototypes, engage with executive-level customers, and develop technical assets to keep Salesforce competitive in Tableau Cloud/Desktop demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on solutions engineering or technical pre-sales experience in analytics/BI.
• Deep expertise in Tableau Cloud and Tableau Desktop.
• Ability to build working prototypes with AI-assisted coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Solutions Engineers to understand field needs and drive adoption of built assets.
• Develop prototypes ahead of GA to demonstrate capabilities and value.
• Validate prototypes with strategic/executive customers and refine positioning.
• Create and maintain technical assets (talk tracks, demos, architecture decks) and keep current with landscape.
