Genesys is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to shape AI-powered customer experiences on a cloud-native platform. You will design scalable Go backends, JS/TS front-ends, and robust integrations with Genesys Cloud APIs, deploying on AWS with Kubernetes.

You will mentor peers and participate in code reviews while advancing agentic AI capabilities across global CX workflows. The role emphasizes hands-on AWS deployment, microservices architecture, and maintaining high performance in

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years working with AI solutions.
• Experience with agentic AI development including RAG pipelines and MCP framework.
• Proficiency in Go for backend development.
• Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript for full-stack apps.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Experience deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS (EKS, Fargate, DynamoDB, EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and UX designers to define requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in peer reviews.
