Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer for Prisma AIRS to drive AI security initiatives. You will support product managers, marketing, and customers by developing outbound technical communications, including best practices, competitive analyses, demos, and beta ownership.

You will influence strategy, collaborate with marketing and sales on GTM plans, and act as a thought leader both internally and externally to evangelize product strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer for network/cybersecurity or DevOps/Solution Architect, preferably in AI security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills and trade show experience.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment with products and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Strong customer advocacy skills and experience, ability to work in difficult customer situations.
• Ability to get things done, fast learner with initiative and ownership.
• Experience in automation tools, building dashboards, etc.
• Experience with writing and editing technical documentation and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and execute the technical marketing plan.
• Use AI to scale impact by creating enablement and defining the art of the possible.
• Present Executive Briefings to C‑Suite executives with deep technical expertise.
• Create, maintain, and deliver technical tools, whitepapers, demos, videos and training for sales, customers, and partners.
• Be a technical evangelist for Palo Alto Networks at seminars, conferences, and customer briefings.
• Identify product gaps via competitive analysis and work with PM to drive enhancements.
• Be the domain authority on Palo Alto Networks products for Domain Consultants.
• Identify sales challenges from competition and propose solutions.
• Document technical concepts to maximize product understanding and utilization.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop collateral like battle cards and white papers.
