Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal AI Security Technologist to lead a security transformation. You will own the target-state AI and data architecture for Micron's converged security operations spanning Physical Security, SOC/GSOC, Threat Intelligence, and Insider Risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security technology or security operations, including time in an architect or senior technical lead role.
• Hands-on experience applying AI agents, ML, or advanced analytics to security or adjacent ops problems, with at least one production deployment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise physical security systems (access control, video management, intrusion/alarm) and SOC workflows.
• Experience designing data and integration architectures that unify data from multiple operational systems.
• Ability to translate security risk and ops needs into technical automated solutions and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the security transformation roadmap and multi-year plan across Physical Security, SOC/GSOC, Threat Intelligence, and Insider Risk.
• Scale AI agents and automation from pilot to production with guardrails and human oversight.
• Shift from alerts to risk-based assessment and prioritization across security domains.
• Lead data-model and integration decisions; select architectures and platforms for converged security.
• Deliver measurable outcomes: workload reduction, faster detection, better risk visibility.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists and communicate direction to senior leadership.
