Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Principal AI Security Technologist to lead a security transformation and own the target-state AI/data architecture for converged security operations.

You will drive AI agents and automation from pilot to production at global scale, shaping risk-based, intelligence-led security capabilities across Physical Security, SOC/GSOC, Threat Intelligence, and Insider Risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security technology, security engineering, or security operations with architect/lead experience.
• Hands-on experience applying AI agents or ML to security or related operations, with at least one production capability.
• Strong understanding of physical security systems and SOC workflows.
• Experience designing data and integration architectures from multiple systems.
• Ability to translate security risk into technical, automated solutions and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the security transformation roadmap across physical security, SOC, threat intelligence, and insider risk.
• Define target-state AI/data architecture for a unified security ecosystem and govern data models and platform choices.
• Scale AI agents and automation from pilot to production with guardrails and human oversight.
• Shift from alerts to risk-based assessment and multi-signal correlation to detect threats earlier.
• Deliver and measure outcomes like workload reduction, detection accuracy, and risk visibility; retire legacy tools as automation matures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers, partnering with IT, cybersecurity, legal and privacy teams.
