Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an AI Security Program Lead to serve as the senior technical authority for AI security within our Cyber Defense & Resilience group. You will define AI security strategy, governance, and incident response initiatives to protect a global environment.

You will lead threat modeling, review high-risk AI architectures, and advise executive leadership on secure use of emerging AI technologies, while coordinating with security functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in AI/ML security.
• Hands-on with AI systems, LLMs, RAG, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Knowledge of AI threat vectors and defensive controls.
• Experience building security strategy, risk assessments, governance.

Responsibilities

• Define AI security strategy, threat model, and roadmap.
• Prioritize AI security initiatives across security functions.
• Review high-risk AI agent architectures and data access.
• Lead AI security incident response with enterprise partners.
• Develop AI incident response playbooks and governance reporting.
• Communicate strategy to executives and leadership.
