Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Principal AI Strategy Architect to lead our AI strategy and emerging systems. You will research, prototype, and evaluate innovative AI capabilities, shaping Micron's roadmap with governance and risk controls.

You will partner with AI Enablement, IT, and business teams to translate experiments into business opportunities, design enterprise AI patterns, and mentor engineers while advancing responsible AI practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud, data engineering, and end-to-end MLOps.
• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale generative AI platforms.
• Expertise with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain and vector databases.
• Strong governance, security, privacy, and NIST AI RMF knowledge.
• Outstanding executive communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Discover, track, and assess emerging AI capabilities and trends; translate to Micron context.
• Architect AI solutions & platforms; define enterprise AI architecture patterns for cloud/hybrid environments.
• Prototype rapid AI proof-of-concepts and evaluate feasibility, performance, and cost.
• Assess value and risk; quantify business impact across functions with governance in mind.
• Enable Responsible AI with guardrails, red-teaming, and monitoring; guide human-in-the-loop processes.
• Communicate insights to executives; mentor engineers and stakeholders on AI capabilities.
