Job summary

Compeer Financial is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to lead enterprise AI initiatives across portfolios and platforms. You will shape AI enablement, governance, and operational excellence, collaborating with Architecture, Security, and Risk to ensure safe, scalable AI adoption.

You will mentor engineers, drive cross-functional programs, and translate strategy into multi-year AI roadmaps while maintaining production quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and building AI applications and platforms using LLMs and related tech.
• Experience scaling responsible AI-enabled engineering across the lifecycle and governance.
• Experience leading complex decisions across multiple portfolios and systems.
• Knowledge of AI governance, privacy, and risk management in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI platform engineering with enterprise tools and integrations for LLMs, agents, and vector search.
• Establish AI operational excellence: guardrails, monitoring, cost and performance management.
• Partner on AI governance with Risk, Legal, Data Governance and Security teams.
• Own delivery of AI initiatives from discovery to production and cross-domain impact.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in responsible AI and prompt engineering.
