Compeer Financial is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to lead enterprise AI platforms and responsible AI governance. You will drive adoption of LLMs, vector search, agents, and cloud AI services, while ensuring safe, scalable, compliant AI solutions across portfolios.

You will mentor engineers, define multi-year roadmaps, and collaborate with architecture, product, security, and risk teams to align engineering with enterprise goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing, building AI applications and platforms using LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol, and cloud AI services such as Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience scaling responsible AI-enabled engineering and Agentic AI across the software lifecycle, prompt and model versioning, quality and safety testing, cost and performance monitoring, production support, and validation of AI-generated outcomes.
• Working knowledge of responsible AI governance, model and vendor risk management, privacy, bias and fairness, auditability, human oversight, sensitive-data protection; experience in regulated industries preferred.
• Experience leading complex solution design across portfolios, products, systems, or domains including architecture, integration, governance, and roadmaps.
• Distinguished software engineering expertise across cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, security, observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to translate strategy into engineering decisions and durable multi-year direction.
• Exceptional communication, influence, leadership, and learning agility; ability to advise executives and governance bodies.

• Leads AI platform engineering and adoption by building enterprise AI platforms, tools, services, and integrations for LLMs and agents.
• Establishes AI operational excellence through guardrails, evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and cost management.
• Partners on AI governance and risk with multiple stakeholders, translating requirements into controls and risk management.
• Owns AI-enabled engineering delivery for strategic initiatives from discovery through operation.
• Develops engineers and leaders through mentoring, communities of practice, and reusable guidance on responsible AI.
• Advances architecture, distributed systems, cloud-native engineering, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability and reliability.
• Translates strategy and client needs into engineering roadmaps and investments.
• Leads across organizational boundaries by partnering with executives and leaders.
