Job summary

Pax8 is seeking a Principal, Artificial Intelligence Vendor Strategy & Partnerships to shape the AI ecosystem, identify strategic partner opportunities, and drive high-impact collaborations that scale Pax8’s platform for partners and their customers.

You will lead cross-functional engagement across Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance, translate market signals into executable plans, and personally advance opportunities from initial outreach to formal partnerships, leveraging your deep AI vendor

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building or scaling AI ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of the AI vendor landscape and commercial considerations.
• Established network across AI companies, platforms, founders, or ecosystem leaders.
• Proven success identifying, engaging, negotiating with, and developing strategic technology partners.
• Experience shaping commercially sound partnership approaches and evaluating complex opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of platform and ecosystem dynamics and how partners create long-term value.

Responsibilities

• Shape our vendor strategy: Identify AI capabilities, market developments, and partnership opportunities that create value for Pax8, partners, and customers.
• Build strategic relationships: Engage AI startups, founders, platform leaders, and established tech providers.
• Lead partnership development: Advance opportunities from initial engagement through to successful partnerships.
• Apply commercial judgment: Develop partnership approaches that create sustainable value for vendors and Pax8.
