Agora Intelligence is seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to design and build production AI systems that power our investing methodology platform. You will work directly with the founders and product teams to shape the intelligence behind Tilt and InvestOS, blending financial data with advanced AI capabilities.

You’ll lead evaluation, experimentation, and architecture decisions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and responsible AI across a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.

Qualifications

• Production AI systems experience.
• Strong ML fundamentals and software engineering.
• Experience with language models and agent-based systems.
• Ability to collaborate with product, design, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI systems powering methodology generation, financial reasoning, retrieval, ranking, and evaluation.
• Develop agentic workflows integrating LLMs, structured data, and external tools into production systems.
• Improve AI quality via evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, and experimentation.
• Partner with product engineers and designers to convert AI capabilities into user-friendly experiences.
• Stay at the forefront of AI models and tooling, evaluating new approaches.
