Job summary

Aledade, a public benefit corporation, seeks a Principal Software Engineer to shape the AI-powered product ecosystem and scale the platform for millions of users. You will architect, guide dozens of teams, and contribute hands-on code from V0 to V2, balancing architectural influence with practical delivery.

You will mentor engineers, align technical direction with business goals, and drive innovation across cloud-native, data-intensive backend systems in a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of production-level experience building scalable systems.
• 6+ years as a trusted technical decision-maker.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL on large multi-table datasets.
• Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong server-side web tech knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go).
