Job summary
Agora Intelligence, the team behind Tilt, is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to design and scale data platforms powering methodology generation, AI reasoning, and analytics for capital markets.
You will own end-to-end data pipelines, ingest diverse financial data, and collaborate with founders, product engineers, and AI researchers to raise data quality and enable trustworthy AI across the product. This remote-first role offers equity and close partnership with leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience building production data platforms, not just ETL pipelines.
- Ability to see how data enables products, not just how it's stored.
- Strong engineering fundamentals for designing distributed data systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the data platform powering methodology generation, AI reasoning, analytics, and investment products.
- Develop reliable, scalable pipelines ingesting, transforming, and enriching financial data.
- Build systems processing data from filings, market data, news, research, and external sources.
- Design data models supporting product development, ML, and platform evolution.
- Ensure data is accurate, observable, reliable, and available for downstream systems.
