Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal Photonics Integration Engineer to lead silicon photonics integration from concept to manufacturing readiness. You will work across design, device, packaging, and manufacturing teams to advance heterogeneous integration and AI-enabled engineering tools.

The role emphasizes leadership of technical programs, optimization of photonics processes, and collaboration to drive Micron's photonics roadmap for high-performance memory solutions.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with 3+ years in photonics or related field required.
• Experience with silicon photonics integration in semiconductor environments.
• Strong knowledge of process integration and statistical analysis.
• Experience leading multi-functional technical projects with data-driven methods.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams across design, device, and manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Develop end-to-end process integration for silicon photonics from concept to manufacturing readiness.
• Lead integration and process development for photonic devices and heterogeneous packaging.
• Drive DOE, yield improvement, defect reduction, and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with design, device, packaging, manufacturing, and suppliers on tapeouts and tech transfers.
• Lead programs and AI-enabled initiatives to improve development efficiency and product performance.
