Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Principal Software Engineer – Emerging Technology & AI for a remote role. You will lead experiments, design proof‑of‑concepts, and drive enterprise adoption of AI, GenAI, and related platforms across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data, Risk, Legal, and delivery teams, and translate insights into reusable patterns and scalable solutions. Strong leadership and hands‑on software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/GenAI, cloud services, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven leadership in technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical experiments in Emerging Tech Labs.
• Evaluate platforms, APIs, cloud services, and patterns; design prototypes.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with EA, Security, Data, Risk, Legal, and delivery teams.
