Job summary

Adeia is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise AI engineering and define the long-term architecture for AI agents. You will partner with the Director of Business Technologies to translate executive priorities into scalable AI solutions across the organization.

You will own the AI agent platform end to end, managing deployment, cost awareness, and vendor relationships across LangChain, Workato One, and Google Cloud Platform, while mentoring IT engineers and business

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Extensive experience building and deploying AI agents and middleware automations in production environments.
Strong background in DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
Experience integrating enterprise business systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce.
Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders to design and deliver AI and automation solutions.
Experience setting technical direction, evaluating emerging technologies, and mentoring engineers or technical contributors.

Responsibilities

Set the direction for delivering AI Agents at Adeia and own the architecture and multi-year roadmap.
Own the AI agent platform end to end, including environment management, deployment, and governance across LangChain, Workato One, and Google Cloud Platform.
Build and ship AI agents and automations across the company from concept to production with unattended operation as the goal.
Coach teams developing their own AI agents and grow the enablement library while mentoring IT engineers and business technologists.
Own agent quality in production with evaluations, monitoring, tracing, regression testing, and incident response.
Develop the APIs, connectors, and middleware for AI agents to integrate with ERP and business systems (NetSuite, Salesforce).
Shape investment strategy for the AI stack and provide evidence-based recommendations to leadership.
Operate within Adeia’s AI governance framework and ensure alignment with data governance standards.
