Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise-wide vision setting.
• 4+ years using agentic or AI-assisted development tools and setting enterprise-wide standards.
• Experience in agentic/AI-assisted software engineering and setting enterprise-wide standards.
• Experience in cross-business-unit technical strategy and multi-year roadmap setting.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year technical vision for agentic software engineering across the enterprise.
• Serve as the final technical authority on the most consequential architecture and engineering decisions.
• Represent Bio-Rad's engineering function in external forums, industry standards bodies, and executive-level discussions.
• Drive enterprise-wide technical strategy spanning multiple business units and domains.
• Mentor Sr. Staff engineers and contribute to senior technical leadership development.
