Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and deliver high-performance AI-enabled applications on AWS. You will work on Agentic AI, RAG pipelines, and cloud-native microservices while collaborating with product managers and UX designers.

You will build scalable backend in Go, craft dynamic front-ends with JavaScript/TypeScript, and deploy in Kubernetes on AWS. Strong leadership and mentorship are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development.
• 2+ years of experience with AI solutions.
• Experience with agentic AI development including RAG pipelines.
• Proficiency in Go for backend development.
• Strong frontend skills with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced Agentic AI solutions leveraging Genesys Cloud platform.
• Design and implement robust integrations to extend AI functionalities.
• Build scalable backend apps using Go and containerized deployments with Kubernetes on AWS.
• Create frontend components with JavaScript/TypeScript and ensure performance.
• Collaborate with product, architects, and UX to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in peer reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and mentor junior engineers.
