Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to company standards while supporting department inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising. This fast-paced role requires efficiency and a passion for delivering an impeccable guest experience.

You will work across departments to assist guests, maintain product knowledge, and ensure safety and freshness in all cases, coolers, and storage areas, including proper handling of deliveries and stock

Qualifications

• 2+ years of meat cutting experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items and assist guests across departments.
• Handle and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards.
• Monitor case temperatures and ensure storage areas meet quality standards.
• Enforce safety, food safety, and proper receiving/stocking procedures.
