Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood to our standards, and to assist with department inventory, pricing, merchandising, and other operations to ensure the best product and guest experience.

You will use knife skills to prepare items for daily sale, maintain product quality, and support across departments as needed, with an emphasis on safety, freshness, and service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be certified within TFMA within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood to TFM standards.
• Assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operational processes.
• Monitor temperature of cases and storage areas; ensure freshness and quality.
