Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to manage, cut and trim meat and seafood to our high standards while supporting inventory, pricing and merchandising tasks. The role is fast-paced and requires attention to detail to deliver an impeccable guest and team member experience.

You will work across departments to assist guests, maintain product quality, monitor case temperatures, and ensure safety compliance with The Fresh Market policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of meat cutting experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle and trim meat and seafood according to The Fresh Market standards
• Assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other processes
• Monitor case temperatures and storage areas to ensure freshness and safety
• Adhere to receiving, stocking, and unloading procedures to maintain quality
• Follow safety and food safety policies and applicable laws
