Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Scheduler in Detroit to develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6. The role requires collaboration across engineering, procurement, and construction to keep baselines current and aligned with project milestones.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction scheduling experience, hands-on Primavera P6 proficiency, and a proven IMS development track record, with preference for utilities/EPC projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional scheduling experience, preferably on construction projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Experience in utilities and/or EPC projects strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and schedule controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules and establish approved schedule baselines.
• Develop and manage integrated master schedules across multiple project departments and disciplines.
• Communicate project timelines, milestones, and critical activities to stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project schedules to ensure timely completion of activities and milestones.
• Perform regular schedule updates, progress tracking, and variance analysis.
• Develop/maintain schedule metrics, dashboards, and management reports.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts, and work with teams to develop recovery strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and other project functions to maintain schedule alignment.
